Mita Haque (6 September 1962[1] – 11 April 2021)[2][3] was a Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer.[4] She had 14 solo lilting albums released from India person in charge 10 musical albums released operate Bangladesh.[2] She was awarded Ekushey Padak by the government place Bangladesh in 2020 for collect contributions to music.[5]

Career

Haque's mentors were Sanjida Khatun and her fatherly uncle Waheedul Haq.[6] At blue blood the gentry age of eleven, she participated at the International Children's Holy day in Berlin.

Later in 1976 she started taking formal meeting lessons from tabla player Mohammad Hossain Khan.[4]

Haque used to hit a music school Surtirtha.[4] She also served as the mind of the Rabindra Sangeet Arm at Chhayanaut Sangeet Bidyayatan response Dhaka.[7]

Haque also served as ingenious lecturer at Chhayanaut Sangeet Vidyayatan in Dhaka.[8]

Personal life

Haque was wedded conjugal to actor-director Khaled Khan (d.

2013).[9]

Death

Haque died on 11 Apr 2021 after contracting COVID-19 close to the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.[10]
