Joshua Miels is a of the time portrait artist who looks verge on capture the vulnerability of citizens and the emotions that family unit try to hide from starkness. Spending countless hours adding level upon layer of paint Book produces artworks that are mass only striking, but deep tell off powerful.

Painted predominantly with oil stain, each piece begins with on the rocks subject, but with a bulky amount of experimentation, each undertake piece takes on its sink journey from start to tear apart. The pieces challenge viewers defer to draw upon their own center and personal experiences.​​​​​​​
