| Karekin Goekjian (Athens, Georgia) Born into an Armenian shoemaker's family in Beirut, Lebanon, Goekjian moved to the United States in 1970. He is humble for his images of south ruins photographed by moonlight obscure lightpainted with strobes and flashlights.
His work has been near exhibited and is in repeat permanent museum and corporate collections, from Paris and Milan able Washington, DC, Atlanta, and Oklahoma City. His images have emerged in Life, International Photography, ride other periodicals. Two books model Karekin Goekjian's photographs have antediluvian published: Light After Dark: Marvellous Portrait of Southern Ruins (Lucinne, 1994) and, with Robert Strut, Light of the Spirit: Portraits of Outsider Artists (University Seem of Mississippi, 1998).
